We chose this place for its proximity to attractions like the Museum of Fine Arts and Fourviere, which we easily walked to in about 20 minutes. The building has a charming old-fashioned feel, and our room was clean and comfortable enough for a family. Breakfast had a variety of choices, and we enjoyed some nice walks around the picturesque area. Despite a few minor issues, like the small dining space during busy hours, overall it was a good stay.

The hotel’s proximity to Gare de Lyon-Perrache was a huge plus for easy transportation. the check-in process was frustrating due to delays and the staff's lack of friendliness. I also faced some issues with the dining experience. the breakfast variety was quite limited and chaotic, with long waits for service. The surroundings felt a bit unsafe at night with vagrants nearby, and directions to the city center were confusing, especially when navigating through the train station.

you would think a four-star hotel would stock at least some drinks in the fridge, but no, just cardboard cups, how charming. also, with the outrageous absence of any bathroom amenities, I half expected to find a cot in the closet. honestly, I almost considered giving a good review, but then again, where was my complimentary welcome gift?

The direction to the hotel is terribly unclear!!! Bathroom layout could use a rework. Rooms near the train station suffer from significant noise. Check-in delays are frustrating and parking issues need addressing!!!

I loved the historic value of the hotel. it was like stepping back in time with its unique architecture. The spacious Superior Twin Room was a pleasant surprise, and the 47-inch flat-screen TV added to the comfort. We enjoyed the thoughtful touches like the Bluetooth sound system. Plus, the location is super convenient, right across from the train station!

There were some homeless individuals around the hotel that made the area feel a bit uneasy at night.
